Hey there! I’m Tamir (pronounced like hammer) Rawlings and I grew up running around the woods in Montana with lots of pets and farm animals in my life. I always wanted to work with animals but my many different interests led to many different adventures all over the US. During these years I played the drums in several bands, became a high school teacher and worked on Stranger Things for Netflix.

 

After spending years in the film industry, I realized I wasn’t doing what I truly loved. I remembered my lifelong love of animals and sought out volunteer opportunities at different sanctuaries. After meeting Emily on one of her trimming visits I leapt at the chance to learn a new skill set and start a new career. I’m incredibly grateful for the opportunity and very proud to help animals and their people in my work.
